Movement Therapy of dancers using alternative methods, //applied in the subject Dance gymnastics at schools artistic fokus

Abstract:

Annotation In my diploma thesis I deal with the meaning of the dance - physical therapy for dancers who are in the course of their professional life exposed to great physical stress.Their musculoskeletal system must be carefully prepared for it. My work includes alternative approaches to exercise and I draw from the well-known or less known methods and approaches such as the Pilates method, the application of rehabilitation reports and not last the usage of knowledge of Eastern movement styles such as yoga. My purpose is to pick up the importance of dance and movement therapy in preparation for future dancers.
