The phenomenon of descholarization by the professional and weider public

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce je zaměřena na radikální alternativy vzdělávání, především na hnutí descholarizace. Teoretická část poskytuje základní informace, týkající se vybraných kritických teorií školy druhé poloviny 20. století. Přibližuje hlavní myšlenky protagonistů, jejich argumenty proti institucím škol a možné přístupy k řešení výchovných problémů. Dále se zabývá významnými pedagogickými osobnostmi dřívějších dob, jejichž názory ovlivnily právě tato hnutí. Část diplomové práce tvoří také charakteristika svobodných škol. Praktická část obsahuje dotazníkové výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem je analyzovat postoj laické i odborné veřejnosti k fenoménu descholarizace.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the radical alternatives to education, primarily on descholarization. The theoretical part provides the basic information concerning selected critical theories of the school of the second half of the 20th century. It describes the main ideas of the protagonists, their arguments against the institutions of schools and possible approaches to solving educational problems. It also deals with important pedagogical figures of earlier times, whose opinions influenced these movements. Part of the thesis is also a characteristic of free schools. The practical part contains a questionnaire survey, which aim is to analyze the attitude of the laic and professional public to the phenomenon of descholarization.
