System analysis of a company for the purpose of implementation of bitcoin payments

Abstract:

Cílem práce je aplikace systémového přístupu k implementaci bitcoinových plateb v internetovém obchodě vybrané české společnosti. V teoretické částí se práce soustředí na problematiku významu bitcoinu jako celku, jeho systémové vlastnosti, výhody a nedostatky bitcoinových plateb a způsoby jejich implementace. Následně je v další kapitole představena Cheklandova metodologie měkkých systému, která je v praktické častí aplikovaná na problematiku implementace bitcoinových plateb v konkrétním podniku. Na základě různých pohledů zainteresovaných stran na proces a účel implementace jsou definována hlavní rizika spojená s implementací a také způsoby jejich prevence. Následně jsou na základě provedené analýzy definované hlavní kroky implementace a je sestaven její časový plán.

Abstract:

The main purpose of this thesis is to apply a system approach to the implementation of bitcoin payments in the online store of a Czech company. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the issue of the importance of bitcoin as a whole, its system properties, advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin payments and methods of its implementation. Subsequently, the next chapter presents Chekland's methodology of soft systems, which is then applied to the implementation of bitcoin payments in a particular company. Based on the different views of stakeholders on the process and purpose of implementation, the main risks associated with implementation and ways to prevent them are defined. At the end, based on the performed analysis, the main implementation steps are defined and implementations‘s time schedule is compiled.
