The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose an optimal solution for the revitalization of the Zdechovice castle which was previously used as military barracks. The theoretical part provides the definition of brownfields along with the causes of their origin, outlines the possibilities of their further use and introduces financial instruments applicable to the revitalization of brownfields.
