Modern approaches for evaluation of the financial health of the business entity

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na hodnocení finančního zdraví daného podniku v období 2011-2015. Cílem je zhodnocení finančního zdraví podniku a navržení opatření, které by finanční situaci podniku zlepšily. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části, a to na teoretickou část a praktickou část, a zahrnuje čtyři kapitoly a závěr, kde je daná problematika rozebrána z teoretické i praktické stránky. V teoretické části je vypsán literární základ, který obsahuje informace o finanční analýze a o finančním zdraví a dále jsou charakterizovány jednotlivé ukazatele finanční analýzy, jak klasické, tak moderní. V praktické části je představen analyzovaný podnik a následně jsou aplikovány finanční ukazatele na tento podnik. Jako finanční ukazatele jsou použity klasické a moderní ukazatele, které jsou uvedeny v teoretické části, a následně pak rozšířeny o vlastní ukazatele. Praktická část je zakončena vyhodnocením výsledků finanční analýzy a návrhy na zlepšení finanční situace v podniku. Za daného finančního stavu by firma uvítala přesné definování strategie firmy, investice do finančních trhů, nebo do rozšíření a diverzifikace výroby, změnu struktury aktiv, nákladovou optimalizaci, založení controllingového oddělení, nalezení nových odběratelů a zvýšení zisku.

Abstract:

Presented thesis is aimed at the evaluation of financial health of a selected company in the years 2011 to 2015. The main aim is to evaluate financial health of the company and to propose measures, which would improve the company's financial situation. The whole thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical and it contains four chapters and a conclusion. The theoretical part contains information about financial analysis, financial health and single typical as well as modern indicators of the financial analysis. The practical part introduces the analyzed company and afterwards the indicators of financial analysiss are applied. As indicators of financial analysis there are used typical and modern indicators, which are introduced in the theoretical part, and then they are extended by author's own indicators. The practical part is closed with the evaluation of the financial analysis and with the company. In the current financial situation, the company would welcome determination of company's strategy, investments in financial markets or in expansion and diversification of the production, changes in the structure of assets, cost optimization, establishment of controlling department, finding new B2B customers and a rise of profit.
