Hanakian dialect in the works of Otakar Bystřina

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o užití hanáckého nářečí v díle Otakara Bystřiny. Zaměřuje se na jazykovou analýzu prozaických děl tohoto spisovatele psaných středomoravským nářečím. V jednotlivých kapitolách se zabývá jak teoretickými poznatky, které se týkají středomoravských nářečí, tak i rozborem konkrétních prozaických textů v rovině fonetické, fonologické a morfologické. Pozornost je věnována rovněž užití nářečí v umělecké literatuře obecně a tomu, jak nářečí v díle Otakara Bystřiny hodnotila dobová kritika.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the usage of the Hanakian dialect in the works of Otakar Bystřina. It focuses on the linguistic analysis of the author's prosaic works written in the Central Moravian dialect. The thesis provides both the theoretical background that concerns the Central Moravian dialect and the phonetic, phonological and morphological analysis. The attention is also given to the general use of dialects in literature and, particularly, how the dialect in the works of Otakar Bystřina was evaluated by contemporary literary criticism.
