Mortality models and their comparing

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na modely úmrtnosti a jejich porovnání. Práce obsahuje teoretický popis historického kontextu úmrtnostních modelů a principů modelování úmrtnosti. Pozornost je zaměřena na porovnání modelů úmrtnosti z hlediska vybraných faktorů, mezi které patří pohlaví, časové hledisko či region. Dále jsou v práci porovnány modely úmrtnosti pro pojištěnou a běžnou populaci. Na závěr práce je provedena analýza střední délky života, ve které byly zahrnuty jak historická data, tak i projektovaná data pro budoucí roky.

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis focuses on the models of mortality and their comparison. The thesis contains theoretical description of the historical context of the models of mortality and the principals of formation of the mortality. Attention is focused on comparing mortality models in terms of selected factors, including gender, time perspective, or region. Furthermore, mortality models are compared for the insured and the current population. At the end of the thesis is analyzed the mean life expectancy, which included both historical data and projected data for future years.
