“There is a demand on every drop: Help to keep the others up!“ - a study of Tage Danielsson's playful humanism

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the works of the Swedish comedian Tage Danielsson and it presents the correspondent sociohistorical context. The thesis also focuses on Danielsson’s public spirit and his commitment to the society characterized by spreading humanistic ideas. As a writer and comedian, Tage Danielsson was known for his timelessness and ability to capture the signs of the time he lived in through his humorous, often ironic poems, monologues and song lyrics. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the way in which various social problems or political changes are reflected in Danielssons’s texts and performances.

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá humoristickou tvorbou švédskeho komika Tageho Danielssona v historicko-spoločenskom kontexte. Práca sa tiež sústreďuje na jeho spoločenskú angažovanosť, ktorá sa vyznačovala výrazným šírením humanistických myšlienok. Ako spisovateľ a komik bol Tage Danielsson známy svojou aktuálnosťou a schopnosťou vystihnúť znaky doby vo svojich humoristických, často krát ironických, básňach, prózach, monológoch a textoch piesní. Cieľom práce je poukázať na spôsob, akým sa spoločenské problémy alebo zmeny politickej situácie odzrkadlili v Danielssonových textoch a vystúpeniach.
