The Support of Families with Children in the System of Social Security

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza jednotlivých peněžitých dávek poskytovaných ze systému sociálního zabezpečení v České republice, jejichž účelem je podpora rodin s dětmi. Rovněž jsou zmapovány možnosti, kam by se mohl český systém poskytování dávek posunout do budoucna. V první části práce je definována rodinná a populační politika státu jako součást širšího pojmu sociální politiky, přičemž blíže jsem se zaměřila na sociální zabezpečení v ČR. Dále byly popsány jednotlivé složky systému sociálního zabezpečení v České republice, které obsahují instituty podporující přímo rodiny s dětmi, přičemž pozornost byla věnována každé z dávek z těchto systémů. Třetí kapitola tak pojednávala o nemocenském pojištění, které součástí sociálního pojištění.Ve čtvrté kapitole byly popsány dávky poskytované ze systému státní sociální podpory. Právě z této části sociálního zabezpečení je poskytováno nejvíce dávek rodinám s dětmi.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of cash benefits paid from the social security system in the Czech Republic, whose purpose is to support families with children. There are also mapped the options for the directions of future development of the Czech allowance system.The first part of the thesis is focused on the definition of family and population policy of the state as part of a broader concept of social policy. I particularly focused on social security in the country in detail. There are also described various components of the social security system in the Czech Republic, which include the institutes directly supporting families with children, particular attention was paid to each of the benefits of these systems. The third chapter referre to the health insurance as part of social insurance. The fourth chapter describes the benefits provided from the state social support. It is particularly this part of the social security that provides the most benefits for families with children.
