The influence of regional companies to choice of secondary school for pupils 9th classes of primary schools

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zjištění, zda u žáků 9. tříd základních škol má při jejich výběru střední školy vliv to, že v jejich místě bydliště nebo okolí sídlí společnost, která je významným zaměstnavatelem. Práce se zabývá problematikou absolventů, navazuje část o spolupracích středních škol a firem, a důležitostí spolupráce středních škol a firem. V rámci výzkumu pro účely práce byly vytvořeny dotazníky pro žáky 9. tříd z vybraných základních škol v Litoměřicích, Lovosicích a Štětí. Výsledky dotazníků ukázaly, že žáci se při výběru studijního oboru neorientují příliš na specifická odvětví daných měst, ale volí si spíše takové obory, které naleznou uplatnění bez problémů i v jiných regionech (pedagogika, informační technologie,ekonomika). Při volbě střední školy ale přesto přikládají určitou váhu jak faktu, že daná vzdělávací instituce spolupracuje s firmou, tak tomu, že během studia mají možnost absolvovat odbornou praxi. Největší váhu důležitosti v našem výzkumu projevili žáci, kteří se hlásili na učební obory.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discover, if the pupils of 9th grade of primary schools are influenced on their choice of the high school by the local companies. The thesis deals with the graduates issues, the next part continues to high schools cooperations with companies theme, laying stress on its importance. As the part of the research, there were developed questionnaires for pupils 9th claases from selected primary schools in Litoměřice, Lovosice and Štětí. The results showed that the pupils don't focus to key industry of the towns during their choosing of branch of study, but they choose that branches which can find the employment in the other districts without any problems (pedagogy, IT, economic). During the choose of the expectant high school they attach weight to fact that the school cooperate with some company, and that they have chance to participate in the professional experience during their studies. The biggest weight of importance attached pupils who applied for vocational school's branches.
