Accounting and tax aspects of the operations of a selected business entity

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou finančního účetnictví a daní v České republice, přičemž pozornost je věnována podnikání právnických osob. Práce sestává ze dvou hlavních částí - části teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je definováno finanční účetnictví obecně, poté jsou přiblíženy podstatné části zákona o účetnictví a dochází k představení klíčových uživatelů účetních informací. Práce se následně zaměřuje na vybrané daně daňové soustavy České republiky, jež jsou zásadní pro téměř každou podnikající právnickou osobu. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována společnosti s ručením omezeným. V části praktické dochází k představení vybraného podnikatelského subjektu, jímž je společnost CHODOVIA CZ s. r. o., a poté je analyzován stav a přístup k finančnímu účetnictví a daním v tomto subjektu. Následně jsou formulována doporučení, jež by vedla ke zlepšení fungování účetního a daňového systému tohoto subjektu. V závěru práce dochází ke shrnutí dané problematiky.

Abstract:

Submitted bachelor thesis deals with the issue of financial accounting and taxes in the Czech Republic with attention being paid to entrepreneurship of legal entities. The thesis consists of two main parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, financial accounting is generally defined, then the essential parts of the Act on Accounting are described and key users of accounting information are introduced. The thesis then focuses on selected taxes of the Czech tax system which are crucial for almost every entrepreneurial legal entity. The last chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to a limited liability company. The practical part introduces a selected business entity which is the company CHODOVIA CZ s. r. o. and then the state and approach to financial accounting and taxes in this entity are analysed. Subsequently, recommendations are formulated to improve the functioning of the entity's accounting and tax system. At the end of the thesis, there is a summary of the given issue.
