Complications in airways management

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je seznámit se s pomůckami k zajištění průchodnosti dýchacích cest a komplikacemi při jejich zavádění a využívání. V teoretické části se stručně věnuji základním anatomickým poměrům dýchacích cest a fyziologii dýchání. Dále se zaměřuji na zprůchodnění a zajištění průchodnosti dýchacích cest různými pomůckami a v další části práce se zabývám komplikacemi při zajišťování průchodnosti dýchacích cest. V empirické části jsem zjišťoval nejčastější komplikace a způsob využívání jednotlivých pomůcek v dotazníkovém šetření. Dotazníky byly určeny pro lékaře/lékařky pracující na ZZS a výsledky jsou uvedeny v praktické části a zhodnoceny v diskuzi.

Abstract:

The subject of this Bachelor thesis is to become acquainted with tools securing the passages of the airways and with complications during the insertion of these tools and their utilisation. In the theoretical part, I briefly devote myself to the basic anatomical conditions of the airways and the physiology of breathing. Furthermore, I focus on the airway clearance and its securing with different tools. In the following part of the work, I concern myself with complications while securing the passages of the airways. In the empirical part, I looked into the most frequently occuring complications and a method of utilisation of individual tools in a questionnaire survey. These surveys were intended for doctors working at ambulance service and the results are mentioned in the practical part and assessed in the discussion.
