Evaluation of terroir of selected vineyard routes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Hodnocení terroir vybraných viničních tratí“ se zabývá hledáním informací o tratích Růženy, Na výsluní a Sahara, které se nacházejí v okolí Pavlova a Hustopečí u Brna. Teoretická část je zaměřena na složky terroir a jejich vliv na vývoj a kvalitu místních vinic. Experimentální část se zabývá podrobnou analýzou těchto lokalit a podmínek, které pro pěstování révy vinné nabízejí, následně je zde popsáno a hodnoceno jejich terroir. Kromě údajů o klima a půdě v těchto oblastech, jsou v této práci zaznamenány i rozbory týkající se sklizní hroznů z posledních několika let a také analytická a organoleptická analýza vín, které z těchto moštů vznikly. Ve všech případech se jedná o odrůdu Sauvignon Blanc.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Evaluation of terroir of selected vineyard routes" deals with the search for information about the routes Růženy, Na výsluní and Sahara, which are located in the vicinity of Pavlov and Hustopeče u Brna. The theoretical part focuses on the components of the terroir and their influence on the development and quality of the local vineyards. The experimental part deals with a detailed analysis of these sites and the conditions they offer for growing grapes, followed by a description and evaluation of their terroir. In addition to data on the climate and soil in these areas, this work also records analyses of the grape harvests of the last few years, as well as analytical and organoleptic analysis of the wines made from these musts. In all cases, the grapes are of the Sauvignon Blanc variety.
