Táto práca popisuje inštitúciu s názvom muzeologický kabinet, ktorého korene siahajú do 50. rokov 20. storočia odkedy sa formoval a pôsobil v rôznych organizačných modifikáciách až do dnešných dní. Práca sa zaoberá históriou, osobnosťami, publikačnou činnosťou, pôsobnosťou v slovenskom múzejníctve a aktivitami s tým spojenými.
