Somatostatin receptors scintigraphy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem ,,Scintigrafické vyšetření somatostatinových receptorů" je zaměřená na neuroendokrinní tumory, které můžeme prokázat scintigrafickým vyšetřením. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie orgánů nejčastějšího výskytu neuroendokrinních tumorů, neuroendokrinní tumory a jejich rozdělení, diagnostika a následná terapie. Následuje popis nejrozšířenější přístrojové techniky používané ke scintigrafickému vyšetření a popis samotného scintigrafického vyšetření pomocí 111In-Octreoscan. Praktická část se zabývá pacienty, kteří podstoupili scintigrafické vyšetření 111In-Octreoscan, za určité období, jejich indikací, se kterou byli pacienti na toto vyšetření posláni. Následně pokračuje statistikou pacientů rozdělených do kategorií podle pohlaví a věku, podle výsledku vyšetření při pátrání po primárním tumoru, lokalizace a typu zjištěného neuroendokrinního nádoru a podle léčby analogy somatostatinu.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Somatostatin receptors scintigraphy deals with neuroendocrine tumors, which we can prove with scintigraphic screening. The theoretical part is consists of organ anatomy with highest tumor occurrences, neuroendocrine tumors and their distribution, diagnostics and its therapy. It is followed with a description of most common devices used for scintigraphic screening and a description of scintigraphic diagnosis with a use of 111In-Octreoscan. Practical part of the work is focused on patient who were under the application of scintigraphic screening 111In-Octreoscan for a certain period of time, with their indications that send them to the screening, continued with a statistic of patients divided to categories by gender, age, their screening result while looking for primary tumor, location and type of positively found neuroendoendocrine tumor, and by treatment with analogs of somatostatin.
