Abstract:

Cíl: Zjistit, zda rodičky využívají alternativní polohy u porodu. Zjistit, kolik rodiček do budoucna uvažuje o využití alternativní polohy u porodu. Zjistit, zda rodičky znají rizika související s využitím alternativní polohy u porodu. Zjistit nejčastější zdroj informací, které rodičky využívají. Metodika: Technika sběru dat byla provedena systematickým náhodným výběrem, a to každá žena po spontánním porodu na oddělení šestinedělí ve Vítkovické nemocnici v Ostravě od září 2013 do ledna 2014. Metoda sběru dat byla provedena pomocí nestandardizovaných dotazníků s celkovým počtem sedmnácti otázek. Ženy byly rozděleny do pěti věkových kategorií v intervalech pěti let. Dále byly rozděleny podle vzdělání do pěti kategorií a podle počtu porodů do třech kategorií. Výsledky: Z průzkumu vyplynulo, že většina žen rodí nejčastěji v klasické horizontální poloze, a to ve všech kategoriích v závislosti na věku, vzdělání a počtu porodů. Více než polovina žen nepřemýšlí do budoucna o porodu v alternativní poloze. Na dotaz, zda je rizikovější porod v alternativní poloze než v klasické horizontální poloze, většina žen odpověděla, že neví. Jako nejčastější zdroj informací o porodu ženy uvedly internet. Závěr: Většina žen ve všech kategoriích v průzkumu odpověděla, že nerodila v alternativní poloze a do budoucna neuvažuje o porodu v alternativní poloze. Může to být i tím, že ženy nejsou dostatečně informovány o této záležitosti, a to z důvodu malé návštěvnosti předporodních kurzů. Abstract:

Objective: To examine if women in labour use alternative birth positions. To examine how many women in labour are considering to use an alternative birth position in the future. To examine whether women in labour know the risks relating to alternative birth positions. To identify the most frequent source of information women in labour use at the most. Methods: The data were collected in a systematic random selection, i.e. every woman after a spontaneous vaginal delivery in the maternity ward at Vítkovice Hospital in Ostrava, from September 2013 until January 2014. The data were collected by means of non-standardised questionnaires that included 17 questions in total. The women were divided into five age groups at intervals of five years. They also were divided into five groups as to their education, and three groups as to the number of deliveries. Results: As followed from the survey, the most women give birth at traditional horizontal position in all groups depending on age, education, and number of deliveries. More than 50% of women do not consider an alternative birth position for the future. The question, if the alternative position is more risk than the traditional horizontal position, was answered by the most women that they did not know. The women mentioned the Internet to be the most frequent source of information. Conclusion: The most women from all groups answered in the survey they had not given birth in an alternative position and they did not consider an alternative birth delivery for the future. This can be based on insufficient information the women get because of their low attendance at antenatal classes.
