Families in Difficult Life Situation and Their Relationship to Social Workers

Abstract:

Text diplomové práce informuje o životní situaci ohrožených rodin, o jejich sociálním fungování, o jejich vztahu a především o spolupráci se sociálními pracovníky. Důležitou součástí je také část práce věnovaná sociální práci s rodinou. Zde je popsána role sociálního pracovníka, očekávání, která od něj rodiny mají, jeho činnosti a kompetence. Třetí kapitola popisuje spolupráci mezi sociálním pracovníkem a ohroženou rodinou. Najdeme v ní vztah mezi těmito subjekty, limity bránící spolupráci nebo podmínky spolupráce. Text práce zahrnuje také praktickou část, kde je popsán průběh výzkumu, který byl realizován za spolupráce ohrožených rodin. Cílem práce bylo zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku „Jaké jsou překážky rodin s obtížnou životní situací ke spolupráci se sociálními pracovníky“, na kterou najdeme odpověď v závěru práce.

Abstract:

The text of the thesis informs about the life situation of vulnerable families, their social functioning and their relationship with the social workers. An important part is also part of the social work with the family. Here is described the role of social worker and expectations that families have of him, his activities and competencies. The third chapter describes the cooperation between social workers and vulnerable families. We find in it the relationship between these parties, the limits to cooperation or cooperation conditions. The work includes a practical part, which describes the course of the research, which was conducted in cooperation with vulnerable families. The aim of this work was to answer the main research question "What are the barriers to families with difficult life situations to work with social workers", to which the answer can be found in the conclusion.
