Language overcomes boundaries. Examples helping shape the Bavarian-Czech border.

Abstract:

Presented work is based on a review of written materials selected for demonstration purposes variety of cross-border cooperation on the western border, which, after the fall of the Iron Curtain has undergone fundamental changes and is constantly exposed to new challenges. The basis for elaboration of the theme are printed material, on which is compiled dictionary of terms, which together with the above materials provides the reader with a comprehensive overview of activities in the Bavarian-Czech border. Great focus, deserves language or verbal expression, which in this communication inherently belongs while choice of some of them refers to the change in approach to the spatiality of Social Sciences after 1989, known as Raumwende or Spatial turn, whose opinions are based theoretical part. This job is not to be understood as grammatically-lexical analysis, rather this work provides incentives for further reflection on language, which aims to align its users.

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zakládá na prozkoumání písemných materiálů vybraných pro účely demonstrace různorodosti přeshraniční spolupráce na západní hranici, která po pádu železné opony prošla základními změnami a je neustále vystavována novým výzvám. Východiskem pro zpracování tématu jsou tištěné materiály, na jejichž základě je sestaven slovník výrazů, který spolu se zmíněnými materiály poskytuje čtenáři ucelený přehled o aktivitách na bavorsko-české hranici. Velké pozornosti ovšem zasluhuje jazyk popřípadě slovní vyjádření, která k této komunikaci neodmyslitelně patří a zároveň výběr některých z nich odkazuje na změnu přístupu sociálních věd k prostorovosti po roce 1989, označované jako Raumwende nebo Spatial Turn, o jejichž názory se opírá teoretická část práce. Tuto práci ovšem není třeba chápat jako gramaticky-lexikální rozbor, spíše tato práce poskytuje podněty k dalším úvahám o jazyku, jehož cílem je sbližovat jeho uživatele.
