The use of proven psychotherapeutic techniques of CBT and DBT in the management environment of a small and medium-sized enterprise, as a prevention of frequent absences at the workplace for employees with mental illness

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je objasnění důležitých pojmů v oblasti duševních poruch, jejich nefarmakologické léčby a pochopení problematiky. Propojuje tyto poznatky s pracovním prostředím a poukazuje na úskalí, které často vyvstává z těchto kombinací. Upozorňuje na legislativu ochrany zaměstnanců v ČR a srovnává ji s jinou zemí EU. Následně, z pohledu duševně nemocných zaměstnanců a také psychiatrů, analyzuje souvislosti mezi dlouhodobou pracovní neschopností těchto jedinců a problematickými interakcemi s jejich nadřízenými. Prostřednictvím odborných publikací zaměřených na psychologické přístupy KBT, DBT a rozhovorů s psychiatry se pokouší formulovat základní soubor funkčních opatření a technik založených na těchto přístupech, u nichž se předpokládá, že mají potenciál snížit pracovní neschopnost zaměstnanců a tím také náklady podniku, vynaložené na zástup nebo výběr nových pracovníků.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to clarify important concepts in the field of mental disordets, their non-pharmacological treatment and understanding of the issue. It connects these findings with the work environment and points out the pitfalls that often arise from these combinations. It draws attention to the employee protection legislation in the Czech Republic and compares it with other EU countries. Subsequently, from the perspective of mentally ill employees as well as psychiatrists, it analyzes the connections between the long-term incapacity of these individuals and problematic interactions with their superiors. Through professional publications focusing on the psychological approaches of CBT, DBT, and interviews with psychiatrists, an attempt is made to formulate a core set of functional measures and techniques based on these approaches, which are believed to have the potential to reduce employee absenteeism and thus the cost of the business, spent on a crowd or selection of new workers.
