La BD Ariol : son utilisation comme support d'amélioration des compétences linguistiques et comme médiateur cognitif en classe de FLE

The comics Ariol : its use as a support for improving language skills and as a cognitive mediator in French as a Foreign Language class

Abstract:

This thesis explores various didactic uses of the comic book series Ariol in teaching French as a foreign language. It also contains several lesson plans and educational sheets targeted towards students from A1 to B1 language level of CEFRL. These sheets that aim to facilitate students´ learning of grammar, vocabulary, French idioms, metaphors, and argot expressions as well as elements of French common knowledge and examples of intertextuality using Ariol. Several topics prominent in this comic book series are explored more thoroughly, such as love, family, and relationships. There are some strategies that can encourage students use grammar and vocabulary but also develop their competences, include transversal themes in teaching, promote discussion and enhance the students' creativity.

Abstract:

Táto diplomová práca pojednáva o pedagogickom využití komiksovej zbierky Ariol vo výuke francúzštiny ako cudzieho jazyka. Práca obsahuje pedagogické listy, ktoré sú vhodné na výuku gramatiky, francúzskych idiómov, metafor a taktiež prvkov francúzskeho všeobecného prehľadu a príkladov intertextuality prostredníctvom komiksovej zbierky Ariol. Pedagogické listy sú určené pre študentov, ktorí dosahujú úroveň A1 až B1 SERR. Práca skúma predovšetkým témy, ktoré sú v tejto zbierke výrazné, ako napríklad témy láska, rodina a medziľudské vzťahy. V tejto práci chceme poukázať na to, ako je možné použiť Ariol, ako kognitívny mediátor a tak naviesť študentov k tomu, aby si z príbehov brali morálne ponaučenie. Diplomová práca ponúka stratégie, ktoré rozvíjajú jednak jazykové kompetencie študentov, no taktiež sa snažia o rozpútanie diskusie a povzbudenie kreativity študentov v hodinách francúzskeho jazyka.
