První se zabývá sociálním významem hostinců, který je dokládán na činnosti spolků, stolových společností, politických stran a na běžném setkávání obyvatel města v tomto prostředí. Abstract:
Masters dissertation deals with the meaning of pubs and inns at the turn of the 19th century in Hradec Králové. It is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the social meaning of pubs, which is supported by activities of associations, table societies, and political parties and by regular meetings of citizens in this environment.
