Sino-Japanese relations in the East China Sea

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu Čínsko-japonských vztahů a jejich vývoji v problematice teritoriálního konfliktu ve Východočínském moři o souostroví Diayou/Senkaku. První teoretická část práce definuje územní spory a uvádí teorie mezinárodních vztahů. Další části práce se věnují chronologickému průběhu konfliktu, strategickému významu daného území pro jednotlivé země a poslední část práce se zaměřuje vlivu Spojených státu při mírových řešení v daném konfliktu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted with the topic of Sino-Japanese relations and the development in the issue of territorial conflict in the East China Sea over the Diayou/Senkaku archipelago. The theoretical part of the thesis defines territorial disputes and introdudes the theory of international relations. The other chapters focuces on chronological development of the conflict and the strategic importance of the territory for each individual countries.. The last part focuses on the work of the influence of the United States on the possibilities of peaceful solutions to the conflict.
