Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá perzekucí kněží na Vysočině po únoru 1948, přičemž důraz je kladen na osobu básníka a kněze Jana Dokulila. Tomu se v roce 1950 podařilo vyhnout zatčení a sedm let se skrýval, až byl nakonec roku 1957 zatčen a následně odsouzen k dvanácti letům vězení. Propuštěn byl až v roce 1965 a o dva roky později byl rehabilitován. Práce poukazuje na důvody, jež vedly Dokulila k útěku před zatčením, mapuje vyšetřování jeho případu i proces následné rehabilitace. Studie umožňuje nahlédnout rovněž do Dokulilovy činnosti v době okupace, kdy měl svoji zásluhu na ukrývání lidí pronásledovaných gestapem.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the persecution of priests in the Vysočina (Highlands) after 1948 with an emphasis on person poet and priest John Dokulil. In 1950 Dokulil managed to avoid arrest and seven years of hiding until he was finally arrested in 1957 and subsequently sentenced to twelve years in prison. He was released in 1965 and two years later he was rehabilitated. Study points to the reasons which led Dokulil to escape from arrest, mapping investigation into his case and subsequent rehabilitation process. The study also provides insight into Dokulil activities during the occupation when he had his credit for sheltering people persecuted by the gestapo.
