Boundaries of voluntariness in the theme of street prostitution from the perspective of social workers working in a Christian organization.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce hledá hranice dobrovolnosti v pouliční prostituci z pohledu sociálních pracovníků pracujících v křesťanské organizaci. Na základě rozhovorů bylo zjišťováno, jak samotní sociální pracovníci tyto hranice tvoří, jak o nich vyprávějí a jak je tyto hranice ovlivňují v jejich další práci s ženami, které se živí prostitucí. Nedobrovolnost v pouliční prostituci je často zlehčována nebo dokonce popírána, proto se i tato práce snaží zjistit, jak sociální pracovníci působící v terénu přistupují k této hranici. Kde končí dobrovolnost a začíná nedobrovolnost. Závěry práce mohou pomoci stávajícím sociálním pracovníkům porozumět této hranici nebo naopak zjistit, jak se na tuto hranici dívají ostatní sociální pracovníci. Přínosná by mohla být i pro nové pracovníky, kteří se teprve s terénní prací seznamují, či s ní chtějí začít.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis seeks boundaries of voluntariness in street prostitution from the perspective of social workers working in a Christian organization. Based on interviews, was investigated how social workers make these boundaries themselves, how they speak about them and how these boundaries affect future work of women, who work as prostitutes. The voluntariness in street prostitution is often downplayed or even denied, therefore this thesis tries to find out, how social workers working in this field approach the border. Where the voluntariness or involuntariness involuntary ends and begins. The conclusions of the present work may help social workers understand the border or to find out how this border other social workers see. It could be beneficial for new workers, who are just introduced into this work, or who want to start with it.
