V bakalářské práci stručně shrnuji významné události historie jaderné energetiky, na které navazuje základní popis v současnosti komerčně využívaných jaderných reaktorů. In my thesis, I will briefly sum up significant events in the history of nuclear power usage, which is followed by a basic description of nowadays commercially used nuclear reactors. In the next part of my thesis I describe the time course of the events in Fukushima since its inception in March 2011 and the state of cold shutdown of blocks in December of the same year.
