The diaphragm activation impact on GERD manifestations

Abstract:

Cílem práce je přispět pomocí vhodných fyzioterapeutických metod, postupů a konceptů ke správné funkci bránice a tím zmírnit projevy GERD. Ve své práci jsem zpracovala kazuistiku 19 leté pacientky s refluxním onemocněním jícnu. Na základě vstupního kineziologického vyšetření byl vypracován krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán složený ze 14 terapií, jež byly praktikovány po dobu čtyř týdnů. S pomocí využití různorodých konceptů a metod byl celkový stav pacientky zlepšen. Spolupráce s pacientkou mi dala mnoho zkušeností do budoucí praxe a práce s lidmi mající refluxní onemocnění. Dokázala jsem pochopit složitost a náročnost terapií zaměřených na gastroezofageální spojení. Nyní bych však u tohoto onemocnění vždy doporučila nejprve vyzkoušet léčbu konzervativní, a až pokud by selhala, tak zvolit operativní cestu.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to contribute by means of appropriate physiotherapeutic methods, procedures and concepts to the proper function of the diaphragm and thus to reduce the symptoms of GERD. I processed a case report of a 19-year-old patient with gastroesophageal reflux disease. Based on the initial kinesiological examination, a short-term physiotherapeutic plan was prepared, consisting of 14 therapies, which were practiced for four weeks. Using a variety of concepts and methods, the patient's overall condition was improved. Working with a patient gave me much experience in future practice and working with people with reflux disease. I was able to understand the complexity and complexity of therapies aimed at gastroesophageal connections. Now, however, I would always recommend a conservative treatment for this disease, and only if it fails, choose an operative pathway.
