Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je navrhnout efektivní způsob segmentace obrazu pro snímky ze skenovacího elektronového mikroskopu (SEM). Účelem této segmentace je zlepšení přesnosti detekce složení vzorku a následné obarvení SEM snímku za použití dat z energeticky disperzní rentgenové spektroskopie (EDS). První část práce popisuje proces EDS barvení, možnosti detekce složení a roli segmentace obrazu v tomto procesu. Druhá část pojednává o existujících metodách segmentace obrazu se zaměřením na metody superpixelové segmentace. Ve třetí části navrhuji vhodné segmentační algoritmy a poslední část jsem věnoval vyhodnocení segmentace na několika poskytnutých vzorcích.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis is to design an effective way of image segmentation for images from a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The purpose of this segmentation is an improvement of composition detection accuracy and subsequent SEM image staining with the usage of energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy data (EDS). The first part of the thesis provides description of the EDS coloring process, possibilities of composition detection and the role of image segmentation in that process. The second part discusses existing methods for image segmentation, with a focus on superpixel segmentation methods. In the third part, I propose segmentation algorithms, and the last part I dedicated to segmentation evaluation on several provided samples.
