Corporate Social Responsibility as a part of Public Relation

Abstract: This work aims to investigate a concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a part of PR. Primary purpose is to analyze the CSR concept and review the tendency of development social responsibility in US and Russia. I focused on a social responsible activities of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) company in Russia and US. The thesis is split into theoretical and practical parts. This work starts with a theoretical one, by giving an introduction to the topic and briefly highlighting the concepts of CSR and PR. The main theoretical part is about CSR, historical background of concept, importance of CSR for business. Also the first part, contain information about PR tool for CSR and explain difference between CSR and PR. For this, common literature and available internet sources were used. The practical part includes the assessment of social responsible practice of PwC in US and Russia market.
