Conditions of large wood occurrence in the river network of the northern part of Hornomoravský úval Basin

Abstract:

Tato práce mapuje množství a parametry říčního dřeva ve vybraných úsecích říční sítě v povodí Moravy a porovnává množství říčního dřeva nalezené ve dvou úsecích řeky Moravy, na leteckých snímcích a v terénu. Hranice širšího zájmového území jsou dány úsekem řeky Moravy a povodími všech přítoků, které do ní v tomto úseku zaúsťují. Zájmový úsek Moravy začíná jezem Řimice a končí soutokem Moravy s Mlýnským potokem v Olomouci. V první kapitole byla provedena diskuse faktorů, které v zájmovém území ovlivňují množství dřeva ve vodních tocích. Ve druhé kapitole bylo pomocí leteckých snímků zmapováno množství dřeva na páteřním toku studovaného území (řeka Morava). V další kapitole byl zmapován, pomocí leteckých snímků z let 2003, 2006, 2012 a 2015 vývoj počtu a parametrů říčního dřeva v čase. Čtvrtá kapitola se věnovala porovnání množství dřeva zjištěného z leteckých snímků s množstvím dřeva zjištěným z terénního mapování. Studovaným územím pro analýzy třetí a čtvrté kapitoly byly dva 200 m dlouhé úseky Moravy. V poslední kapitole bylo, pomocí terénního měření, zmapováno množství říčního dřeva ve třech dílčích povodích s odlišným typem krajiny.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis maps the amount and parameters of large wood in selected reaches of channel network in the Morava basin and compares the amount of large wood found on aerial images and in the field. The boundaries of the wider area of interest are given by the section of the Morava River and by the catchments of all the tributaries that enter into this river in this section. The studied section of Morava River begins with weir Řimice and ends with the confluence of Morava River with the Mlýnský stream in Olomouc. In the first chapter, there was conducted the discussion of factors, that, in the area of interest, influence amount of large wood in the watercourses. In the second chapter, there was, with the aerial images, mapped the amount of large wood on the spinal watercourse of the studied area (Morava River). In the next chapter, using aerial images from the years 2003, 2006, 2012 and 2015, there was mapped the evolution of quantity and parameters of large wood in time. The fourth chapter looked at the comparison of the amount of wood found in aerial images with the amount of wood found during field mapping. The studied areas, for analyses of the third and fourth chapter, were two 200-meter-long reaches of Morava River. In the last chapter, there was, using field measurements, mapped the amount of large wood in three sub-basins with different landscape types.
