An Annotated Translation of the Purchase Contract

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the translation of the sales contract from German into Czech and with the analysis of sales contracts. This thesis is divided into 2 parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with key terms from the field of technical language, legal language and legal translation. This part was concluded with a chapter on the characteristics of sales contracts, their types and their textual features. In the practical part, the sale contract was translated from German into Czech and commented on. The practical part includes an analysis of legal features, contract terminology and translation of selected sales contracts.

Abstract:

Diese Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Übersetzung des Kaufvertrages aus dem Deutschen ins Tschechische und mit der Analyse von Kaufverträgen. Sie gliedert sich in zwei Teile - in den theoretischen Teil und den praktischen Teil. Der theoretische Teil befasst sich mit den Schlüsselbegriffen aus den Bereichen der Fachsprache, Rechtssprache und Rechtsübersetzungen und dann mit der Charakteristik der Kaufverträgen, ihren Arten und ihren Textmerkmalen. Im praktischen Teil wurde der Kaufvertrag vom Deutschen ins Tschechische übersetzt und kommentiert. Der praktische Teil umfasst eine Analyse der rechtlichen Merkmale, der Vertragsterminologie und die Übersetzung ausgewählter Kaufverträge.
