Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce představuje korozi, na jedné straně jako nežádoucí proces znehodnocení kovu a na straně druhé jako estetický prvek. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na proces začleňování odpadového materiálu do umění a vysvětlení termínů s ním souvisejících, tj. recyklace, upcyklace a postprodukce, dále obsahuje výčet umělců pracujících přímo s korodovaným kovem. Praktická část, jež se opírá o část teoretickou, obsahuje malby samotné koroze.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis introduces corrosion on one hand as an undesirable process of depreciation of metals and on the other hand as an esthetic element. The theoretical part focuses on the process of including scrapable material into art and explaining terms related to this subject such as: recycling, upcycling and postproduction. The thesis also includes a list of artists who work directly with corroded metals. The practical part of the thesis, which is reliant on the theoretical part, includes artworks of corrosion.
