Pharmaceutical analysis of antimycotics using voltammetric methods

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití voltametrických metod ve farmaceutické analýze léčiv, konkrétně antimykotik, která se využívá při léčbě nemocí způsobených patogenními houbami (plísněmi a kvasinkami). Práce zahrnuje stručnou charakterizaci původců mykóz a symptomy jimi vyvolaných onemocnění a přehled dosavadně používaných léčiv, včetně jejich indikace. Největší důraz je pak kladen na samotné elektrochemické stanovení aktivních látek, kde dominuje přímá voltametrie, jenž svými analytickými parametry může konkurovat v praxi používaným chromatografickým metodám.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the possibilities of using voltammetric methods in the pharmaceutical analysis of drugs, namely antifungals, which are applied on the treatment of diseases caused by pathogenic fungi, especially by molds and yeasts. The thesis contains a brief description of the causative agents of mycoses with the symptoms of the disease caused by them, and an overview of the drugs including their indications. The main emphasis is placed on the electrochemical determination of active substances itself, where direct voltammetry dominates, while with it's analytical parameters can compete with the chromatographic methods used in practice.
