Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komentovaným překladem knihy Ludwig van Beethoven - Sein Leben in Bildern od Richarda Petzoldta a Eduarda Crasse. Teoretická část se věnuje historii českého překladu, definici překladu a překladatele, překladatelskému procesu, funkčním stylům v cílovém jazyce a samotné charakteristice knihy.
