The work focuses on two-dimensional iconographic depictions of horses on ceramics of Greek provenance, dating from the geometric to the archaic period. Práca sa zameriava na dvojrozmerné ikonografické zobrazenia koní na keramike gréckej proveniencie, pochádzajúce z geometrického až archaického obdobia. V počiatočných kapitolách je predostretý význam koní v archaickej gréckej spoločnosti. Súčasťou je obšírna databáza nádob s vyobrazením koňa.
