Abstract:
The thesis will explain what Indian gaming (meaning gambling operations run by American Indians) is and assess the impacts of this industry on the communities in the vicinity of Indian casinos both on and off the reservations through presenting current economic data and studies from the beginning of the 21st century.
Abstract:
Práce vysvětlí, co je to tzv. Indian gaming, čili podniky vedené Americkými Indiány, ve kterých se provozuje hazard, a pomocí současných ekonomických dat a studií z počátku 21. století zhodnotí dopady tohoto podnikání na komunity žijící v okolí indiánských kasín, a to jak na rezervacích, tak i mimo ně.
