Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá životem a hudebním jazykem amerického swingového kytaristy Allana Reusse. Částečně se také věnuje roli kytary ve swingové rytmické sekci. V práci budou za pomocí transkripcí autora rozebrány jednotlivé elementy Reussovy hry. Analyzované nahrávky pocházejí z doby, kdy byl Reuss na jazzové scéně aktivní, tzn. mezi lety 1935 – 1946. Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with life and musical language of an American swing guitar player Allan Reuss. It also partially deals with the role of the guitar in the swing rhythm section. The individual elements of Reuss's playing will be analyzed in the thesis through the author's transcriptions.
