Message Sequence Chart (MSC) je textový a grafický formalizmus používaný pro popis komunikujících systémů. Kombinací více MSC můžeme získat High-level Message Sequence Chart (hMSC) s větší vyjadřovací silou. Nedávno byly do MSC přidány časové a pravděpodobnostní vlastnosti. Message Sequence Chart (MSC) is an appealing textual and graphical formalism for describing communicating systems. MSCs can be composed into High-level Message Sequence Charts (hMSC) with greater expressiveness. Recently, time and probability properties have been introduced into MSC.
