Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou segmentace (konkrétně dělení a slučování vět) ve studentských překladech. Vzhledem k tomu, že tento jev zatím nebyl příliš zkoumán, je v zájmu této práce především prozkoumat různé náhledy na segmentaci, různé způsoby zpracovávání informací a vztah mezi segmentací a kvalitou překladu. The aim of the present thesis is to observe the phenomenon of segmentation changes (sentence merging and sentence splitting) in translation.
