Partisan writers: female testimonies of war and resistance
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the written testimonies of women who operated in the Italian resistance during the Second World War and left their testimonies about their war experience. The topic is explored through various types of such testimonies (diaries, letters, novels ...), especially through the analysis of "Il pane bianco" and "Il fumo di Birkenau".
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá písemnými svědectvími žen, které během druhé světové války působily v italském odboji a o svých válečných zkušenostech zanechaly písemné svědectví. Téma je rozebíráno skrze různé typy takovýchto svědectví (deníky, dopisy, romány…), především pak prostřednictvím analýzy děl "Il pane bianco" a "Il fumo di Birkenau".
