Validation of HEC-RAS model for Berounka catchment
Abstract:
This thesis aims to improve 1D hydraulic modeling by reviewing existing approaches and optimizing model setup to ensure stability during hydrological extremes. Developing the Python Interface to load data into the HEC-RAS model is also one of the main objectives. The study also validates the HEC-RAS model's simulation of the Berounka river basin by comparing it to observed runoff.
