Práce pojednává o vztazích mezi Indiány Velkých plání a bělochy v druhé polovině devatenáctého století. V práci se obzvláště zabývám prostředky, které museli Američtí osadnící vymyslet a aplikovat, aby se jim podařilo podmanit si původní obyvatele Severní Ameriky. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the Indian-white relations in the second half of the nineteenth century. Specifically, it deals with the Indians of the Great Plains. In particular, it discusses the means American settlers had to invent and implement in order to subjugate Native Americans.
