Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá biodegradací a biodegradabilitou plastů. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy a shrnuty obecné i současné poznatky v oblasti (bio)kompozitů, částicového plniva, biodegradovatelných polymerů včetně stěžejní problematiky této práce - biopolymeru PLA a procesu biodegradace. V úvodu experimentální části je popsán postup zhotovení zkušebních těles ze tří materiálových systémů: neplněného PLA a biokompozitů plněných 20 hm. % mletých rýžových slupek (PLA/RH) a mletou kávovou sedlinou (PLA/SCG). Experiment se dále zabývá hodnocením účinků biodegradace ve sladkovodním prostředí o teplotě 20 °C na vybrané mechanické, strukturní a termické vlastnosti těchto materiálů včetně jejich optických změn v průběhu časové délky experimentu 365 dní. Diskuze výsledků měření je uvedena v závěrečné části práce.

Abstract:

This master's thesis deals with biodegradation and biodegradability of plastics. The theoretical part explains the basic terms and summarizes general and current knowledge in the field of (bio)composites, particulate filler, biodegradable polymers, including the key issues of this work - biopolymer PLA and the biodegradation process. In the experimental part, the procedure of making test specimens from three material systems is first described: unfilled PLA and biocomposites filled with 20 wt. % rice husks (PLA / RH) and spent coffee grounds (PLA / SCG). The experiment also deals with the evaluation of the effects of biodegradation in freshwater environment at a temperature of 20 °C on selected mechanical, structural and thermal properties of these materials, including their optical changes during the time of the experiment 365 days. The discussion of the measurement results is given in the final part of the work.
