Design, realization and evaluation of geography fieldwork in the Ostrov (nad Ohří) and its surroundings

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a realizací terénní výuky v Ostrově (nad Ohří) a jeho okolí. Zpracování předcházelo studium literatury, podrobné naplánování terénní výuky do probíraného celku "místní region" pro žáky 8. ročníku. Součástí práce jsou vytvořené metodické materiály k dané trase, které byly vytvořeny pro učitele, tak, aby mu bylo zcela jasné, jakým způsobem terénní výuku vést. Po vytvoření metodických materiálů jsem přistoupil k vytvoření výukových materiálů, tak, aby byly pro žáky snadno pochopitelné, přehledné a zároveň korespondovaly s jednotlivými zastávkami terénní výuky. Pro účely práce byl také realizován polostrukturovaný rozhovor s vyučujícím zeměpisu, prostřednictvím kterého došlo k verifikaci nebo zamítnutí celkem pěti stanovených hypotéz. Pro lepší orientaci v textu je práce obohacena o tabulky a obrázky. Metodická příručka pro učitele, jakým způsobem terénní výuku vést a výukové materiály pro žáky jsou součástí příloh této práce.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to the proposal and realisation of fieldwork in Ostrov and its surrounding. Before the thesis was completed, it was necessary to study the literature, to plan carefully the outdoor lessons and to set them into the lectured concept called "the local region" for the pupils of the 8th year. Part of the thesis are methodological materials for the particular route which were created for the teacher so that it is completely clear how to practise the fieldwork. After that I created lessons´ materials which are easy to understand, which are clear and well-arranged and which correspond with the particular stops during the outdoor lessons. For the thesis purposes I also conducted a semistructured interview with a Geography teacher that lead to approval or disapproval of the five proposed hypotheses. To get a better overview there are also charts and pictures in this work. A methodological handbook for teachers how to practise the fieldwok is also included in the attachment of the thesis.
