Cílem této rigorózní práce je analyzovat a kriticky zhodnotit platnou právní úpravu institutů nutné obhajoby, obhájce ustanoveného sou-dem a nákladů trestního řízení. Jedná se o tři navzájem úzce propojené oblasti, které zajišťují ústavně zaručená základní lidská práva a svobo-dy spočívající v přístupu ke spravedlnosti, právu na spravedlivý proces a právu na obhajobu v trestním řízení. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and critically evaluate the rules on mandatory defense, mandatory legal representation (defense counsel appointed by the court), and costs of criminal proceedings.
