The clients´satisfaction with the provision of social services in homes for the elderly

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku poskytování sociálních služeb klientům v domovech pro seniory. V první kapitole teoretické části je pojednáno o pojmech stáří a stárnutí, o demografických změnách v české populaci a o opatřeních státu k ochraně seniorů. Druhá kapitola se zabývá problematikou sociálních služeb, jejich členěním, kvalitou a standardy, se zaměřením na služby pro seniory a spokojenost klientů. Třetí kapitola je věnována tématu sociální práce se starými lidmi, personálnímu zajištění služeb a etickým aspektům v sociální práci. Výzkum v praktické části práce je zaměřen na zjištění a porovnání spokojenosti klientů s vybranými sociálními službami, službami personálu a účastí na volnočasových aktivitách ve třech vybraných domovech pro seniory v okrese Šumperk. Byly zjištěny některé rozdíly i závislosti ve spokojenosti seniorů a doporučena opatření ke zmírnění negativních projevů.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the issue of the provision of social services to clients in the homes for the elderly. In the first chapter the theoretical part is discussed about the concepts of old age and ageing on demographic change in the Czech population and on the measures the State to protect seniors. The second chapter deals with social services, their breakdown, quality and standards, with a focus on services for the elderly and satisfaction of clients. The third chapter is devoted to the topic of social work with older people, staffing services and ethical aspects in social work. Research in the practical part of the work is aimed at the detection and comparison of satisfaction of clients with selected social services, services of the staff and participation in leisure activities in the three selected homes for the elderly in the District of Šumperk. Some differences were found, and dependence on the satisfaction of the elderly and recommended measures to mitigate negative expressions.
