Depiction of Marc Anthony in the late writings of M. Tullius Cicero
Abstract:
Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá tématem vyobrazení a charakterizace Marka Antonia v pozdních dílech M. Tullia Cicerona, a to zejména prostřednictvím analýzy Ciceronových filipik a invektivy v nich použité. Zkoumá také, jak Antonia vnímali pozdější antičtí autoři.
Abstract:
The bachleor’s thesis deals with the topic of depiction and characterisation of Mark Antony in the late works of M. Tullius Cicero, especially through the analysis of Cice-ro’s Philippics and his usage of the invective. It also examines how Antony was per-cieved by later ancient authors.
