Equine assisted learning as an prevention for children at risk

Abstract:

Anotace Diplomová práce se zabývá aktivitami s využitím koní (AK) jako vhodné terapie pro jedince v riziku poruch chování v oblasti prevence. Cílem teoretické části je seznámení s tímto méně známým druhem hiporehabilitace, s nezbytnými pojmy, s teoretickou podstatou AK, s oblastmi působení, s metodikou a jednotlivými metodami a se všemi nezbytnými organizačními podmínkami, které jsou potřebné pro provádění kvalitní terapie. Dále informuje o problematice jedinců v riziku poruch chování, charakteristice rizikového chování, vývoji jedince, prevenci a intervenci v rámci AK. V praktické části zkoumám, zda tato terapie je schopna úspěšně formovat chování jedinců a předcházet tak vzniku poruch chování. Výzkumný vzorek obsahuje 5 jedinců. Pro výzkum využiji metody pozorování, numerické posuzovací škálové techniky a metody případové studie.

Abstract:

The Annotation The Diploma thesis deals with using Equine assisted learning as a suitable therapy for children at risk for behavioural disorder. It concentrates mainly on prevention. The aim of theoretical part is acquaint with Equine assisted learning, important conceptions, theoretical part of Equine assisted activities, methodology and methods, and with every important organizing conditions for quality therapy too. Diploma thesis acquaint with children at risk for behavioural disorder, characteristics of risk factors, prevention and intervention. In the practical part I research usability this therapy for children with behavioural disorder. I research ability prevent behavioural disability and positive forming behaviour of children. For my research I operate with five clients. I am using some method like a observation, rating scale assessing and case study.
