Motive of Motherhood of Feminine Characters in the Work of Petra Hůlová

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Motiv mateřství ženských postav v díle Petry Hůlové je zaměřena na analýzu motivu mateřství u ženských postav v prózách Petry Hůlové Paměť mojí babičce, Přes matný sklo a Umělohmotný třípokoj. První část práce se zabývá postavou a motivem z teoretického hlediska. V praktické části jsou analyzovány postavy, k čemuž dopomáhají literárněteoretické studie. V závěru práce jsou srovnávány společné a rozdílné znaky ve vztahu k motivu mateřství.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis Motive of Motherhood of Feminine Characters in the Work of Petra Hůlová is focused on analysis of the motive of motherhood among feminine characters in prose of Petra Hůlová “All This Belongs to Me”, “Through Frosted Glass” and "Plastic Three-bedroom Apartment". The first part of the thesis is dealing with the character and motive from the theoretical point of view. In the practical part characters are analyzed with the help of literary-theoretical studies. In the conclusion different and common features in the relation to the motive of motherhood are compared.
