Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá mezijazykovou homonymií, konkrétně jevem zvaným false friends, nebo-li falešní přátelé. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí; teoretické, která se věnuje false friends z pohledu synchronního a diachronního, a praktické, jenž se zabývá samotným výzkumem.
