Event Management in the University Galleries Environment

Abstract:

Motiváciou napísania diplomovej práce bol vznik univerzitnej Galérie G18, ktorá sa vybu-dovala na Fakulte multimediálních komunikací na Univerzite Tomáše Bati v Zlíne. Cieľom práce je zistiť, aké eventy sú podľa organizátorov eventov v univerzitných galériách najna-vštevovanejšie a tiež zistiť, aké eventy by najviac ocenili v Galérii G18 študenti Fakulty multimediálních komunikací. Prvá časť práce definuje teoretické znalosti z oblasti kultúr-neho managementu a eventového managementu. Teoretická časť ústi do metodiky práce, ktorá popisuje jej ciele a zvolené výskumné šetrenia, praktická časť sa zaoberá vybranými výskumnými metódami, a to polo štandardizovanými rozhovormi a dotazníkovým šetrením. Projektová časť hovorí o odporúčaniach pre organizátorov eventov v prostredí uni-verzitných galérií.

Abstract:

Creation of the university Gallery G18 in Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín was the motivation to write this master thesis. The main aim of this thesis is to find out, which events organizers consider as the most visited and which events students would like to see the most. The first part of thesis defines theoretical knowledge from the cultural management and event management. The main objectives of the master thesis are described in the first part as well. In the methodical part are used two research methods, the semi standardized interviews and questionnaires. As a result, in the final project section, can be found all the recommendations for the future organizers of the events in university galleries.
